ANNAPOLIS, MD — Governor Wes Moore this afternoon joined a roundtable discussion with business owners and community leaders in Turner Station—a community severely impacted following the collapse of the Key Bridge one year ago.

To open the roundtable, the governor delivered remarks reflecting on the progress made over the last year, and committed to continued partnership with the Turner Station business community throughout the bridge reconstruction and economic recovery effort.
Along with Governor Moore, Governor’s Office of Small, Minority, and Women Business Affairs Special Secretary Maria Martinez and Baltimore County Executive Kathy Klausmeier, roundtable participants included owners and executives from the following businesses:
- APS North Terminal
- BTR Capital Group
- Hard Yacht Cafe
- Pink Walnut Body Care Bistro
- Little Crystal Bijoux
- Cutting Edge Barber Shop
Turner Station residents and multiple Moore-Miller Administration officials made up the audience for today’s discussion, including Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Secretary Jake Day, Maryland Department of Labor Secretary Portia Wu, Maryland Department of Commerce Deputy Secretary Steve Rice, and Turner Station Conservation Team, Inc. President Gloria Nelson.
The meeting concluded after 2:00 PM.
