ANNAPOLIS, MD — Governor Wes Moore today announced new roles and responsibilities for several members of his executive team.
“Over the past year, our office has grown tremendously and our team of dedicated public servants has demonstrated extraordinary commitment,”
said Gov. Moore. “I am thrilled to expand the roles of Pokuaa Owusu-Acheaw, Kristina Broadie Jeter, Mollie Byron, and Matthew Verghese and look forward to their continued contributions in our work to make this Maryland’s decade.”
The following changes have been made to the executive staff in the Office of the Governor:
- Pokuaa Owusu-Acheaw will now serve as a Deputy Chief of Staff, supporting the office’s legislative portfolio;
- Kristina Broadie Jeter is now Assistant Chief of Staff for Executive Operations and Protocol;
- Mollie Byron is now Director of Intergovernmental Affairs and Senior Advisor;
- Matthew Verghese is now Director of Federal Relations and Senior Advisor;
The new roles and responsibilities are now in effect.
