The VPC was developed in partnership with Tradepoint Atlantic which has been committed to revitalizing the former steel making facility into a global industrial supply chain and logistics hub to provide new jobs and investment into the region’s economy.
“We are proud to welcome McLaren to Tradepoint Atlantic and to Baltimore. McLaren joins a growing roster of iconic automotive brands that have chosen Tradepoint as a critical link in their global supply chains,” said Managing Director of Tradepoint Atlantic Kerry Doyle. "This investment is another strong vote of confidence in the Port of Baltimore and reinforces our region’s longstanding prominence as one of the nation’s premier gateways for vehicle imports and automotive logistics. We look forward to supporting McLaren’s growth here and celebrating the jobs, investment, and economic activity this new facility will bring to our region.”
