Community Outreach Contract Procurement 

The Governor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (OIA) is pleased to announce a competitive funding opportunity for community organizations on Maryland’s Eastern Shore to support outreach, referrals, and access to immigration legal services through the Rural Access to Immigration Legal Services (RAILS) initiative.

OIA is seeking trusted, community-rooted organizations to help connect immigrant individuals and families with immigration legal resources through coordinated outreach and referral activities.

Selected organizations will help increase awareness of available legal services, strengthen referral pathways, and improve access to qualified immigration legal assistance for immigrant communities in underserved areas of the Eastern Shore.

Funding & Key Dates 

Total Available Funding: $150,000

Application Deadline: August 26, 2026

Informational Webinar: August 19, 2026 (Register )

Funding will be distributed among selected organizations based on the strength of their proposals, demonstrated community need, organizational capacity, and alignment with the goals of the RAILS initiative.
