ANNAPOLIS, MD – Lieutenant Governor Miller today announced that she has been invited, along with the Second Gentleman, by President Joe Biden to attend the state dinner at the White House this evening, Thursday, June 22nd, 2023.

This is the third state dinner hosted by the Biden-Harris administration. It will celebrate the importance of the U.S.-India partnership and include invited guest Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Republic of India.

“It is an honor to be invited by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden to the administration’s state dinner between the United States and India,” said Lt. Gov. Miller. “I look forward to this significant opportunity to represent the state of Maryland and the Indian American community at the White House, and to reinforce the strong cultural and economic ties between Maryland and India.”
