ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Maryland Department of Budget and Management is offering guidance to organizations seeking funding in the FY 2024 Supplemental Budget. To be considered for funding, requests from non-governmental organizations must align with the role of state government and directly support a public purpose.
“We’re leveling the playing field by opening up the application process to organizations with worthy proposals that perhaps didn’t know how to access state capital funding,” said Governor Wes Moore. “This process is key to helping our administration reach new partners to help move Maryland forward.”
All requests for funding in the FY 2024 Supplemental Budget must be submitted to the Department of Budget and Management at FY2024Funding.Requests@maryland.gov no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, February 17.
Organizations who have already submitted requests for funding in the governor’s FY 2024 Supplemental Budget may resubmit with additional information to address the evaluation criteria in the DBM guidance. The administration will notify organizations of the outcome of their proposal in March 2023.
The administration is in the process of reviewing funding requests from local government partners, counties and municipalities under a separate process.
