ANNAPOLIS, MDGovernor Larry Hogan spent the afternoon in Baltimore City visiting the Weinberg Y in Waverly and touring small businesses. The governor also commemorated the 100th anniversary of William Donald Schaefer’s birthday by proclaiming Nov. 2, 2021 as William Donald Schaefer Day in Maryland.

100th Anniversary of William Donald Schaefer’s Birthday. Governor Hogan joined state and local leaders to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birthday of former Baltimore mayor, Maryland comptroller, and governor William Donald Schaefer. To mark the occasion, he officially proclaimed November 2, 2021 as William Donald Schaefer Day in Maryland.
