Hogan Administration, City of Annapolis Launch Text Line for Inauguration

Text MDGOV to 99411 to Receive Reminders, Updates

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Hogan administration in partnership with the City of Annapolis has launched an informational text line for Marylanders who are interested in details regarding the Inauguration festivities on Wednesday, January 16, including road closures, reminders, and day-of updates.

“We look forward to welcoming Marylanders from across the state to Annapolis on Wednesday, as well as ensuring Annapolis residents can enjoy the day,” said Governor Larry Hogan. “Signing up for text updates is a great way to stay informed while making plans for this historic event.”

Users who would like to opt-in to messaging should text MDGOV to 99411. Standard text message rates apply. More information can be found at governor.maryland.gov/inauguration.

Additionally, the Annapolis Call Center at 410-216-2211 will open be open from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on January 16 for non-emergency questions. Call takers are trained to provide the public with pertinent information and to handle requests for City services.
