Governor Larry Hogan Announces Judicial Appointment

Fills Vacancy on the Circuit Court for Carroll County

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today announced the appointment of Mr. Richard Titus to the Circuit Court for Carroll County. The governor made the appointment after reviewing nominees from the judicial nominating commission for Carroll County.

“After conducting a thorough vetting process, I am confident that Mr. Titus will be a strong advocate for the law and for the citizens of Carroll County,” said Governor Larry Hogan. “Mr. Titus’ decades of legal experience in Carroll County have prepared him well for this appointment and I offer my sincere congratulations.”

Richard Titus will fill a vacancy on the Circuit Court for Carroll County. Richard Titus has practiced law for more than 25 years, and is currently a principal in the law firm of Hollman, Maguire, Titus & Korzenewski, Chtd. His previous experience also includes clerking for a Carroll County Circuit Court judge, clerking for a Montgomery County Circuit Court judge, and working at the law firm of Burdow & Noble, P.C. Mr. Titus graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

This appointment will take effect immediately.
