The Governor tours the Baltimore Coca-Cola Bottling Facility, one of the first Maryland Green Registry members, to learn about their corporate responsibility and recycling, water, and energy conservation, and sustainability efforts.

NFL Network teams up with Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley, Verizon FiOS TV and the Baltimore Ravens to kick off the Keep Gym in School program in Anne Arundel County public schools and officially inaugurate newly-refurbished Physical Education facilities at Corkran Middle School in Glen Burnie. The Governor and Corkran students, faculty and staff participated in an energetic pep rally, before Ravens Linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo and Center Matt Birk led students through fitness tests and football-inspired drills during an on-field minicamp.
