Governor Larry Hogan Visits Bester Elementary, Promotes OnTrack Washington County
Joined officials from AT&T in presenting $25,000 check to provide educational resources and support for Washington County students
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today visited Bester Elementary School in Hagerstown where he was joined by Maryland and Washington County education officials, teachers, students, parents, and business leaders as part of a three-day trip through Western Maryland. During the visit, the governor addressed fourth and fifth grade students, and joined officials from AT&T in presenting a $25,000 check to OnTrack Washington County, which will help provide educational resources and support to Washington County students.
“I am proud to join today with education officials, students, parents, and business leaders to support OnTrack, which will help provide Washington County students with the resources they need to be successful,” said Governor Hogan. “I would like to thank AT&T for recognizing the importance of this program to the Washington County community, and providing this much-needed support for our students.”
OnTrack is a coalition of independent community partners focused on improving education of Washington County students, in order to strengthen the local economy and improve quality of life in the county.
